Officially launched on 4 August 2026, PlayMatters South Sudan marks the programme's expansion into a fourth country. Working in partnership with the Ministry of General Education and Instruction, the programme will strengthen teacher professional development and support quality, inclusive and engaging learning through Learning through Play, building on more than five years of implementation and evidence from Uganda, Ethiopia and Tanzania.
